Support the Michigan ACE Initiative - Become a MACC Presenter.  Research demonstrated how adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) affect eh health and ongoing develoment of children and adults.  The effects of trauma, including ACEs-related trauma, can hinder academic success and negatively influence the climate and culture of our schools.  Educators have a unique opportunity to help students and familes overcome the effects of trauma by guilding resilience.  Through discussion and group collaboration, participants actively prepare to present the Michigan ACE Initiative content to school and community groups.  Upon successful completion, participants will gain electronic access to the tools needed to deliver an effective presentation adn will be added to the MACC Presenters' Network.
