Position Highlights
- Position: Registered Nurse Navigator Oncology
- Location: NCH - Infusion Clinic - Arlington Heights, IL
- Full Time | 40 hours/week
- Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm, no weekends or holidays
- Functions on the multidisciplinary team as an advocate, educator, and counselor for oncology patients.
- Responsible for ensuring all patients with an oncology diagnosis receive quality and comprehensive services.
- Coordinates patient care throughout the continuum in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
- Services as a clinical resource with expertise in hematology/oncology care management.
- Serves as a liaison throughout the facility and in the community regarding services provided for this unique patient population.
- Provides expert nursing care, which includes: consultation, direct clinical practice, education, and research
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, required. Master's Degree in Nursing, preferred.
- License: Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse license, required.
- Certification: BLS/CPR issued by the American Heart Association, required. Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification, preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of previous clinical oncology experience, required.
- Eligibility for our Annual Incentive Plan, which offers the potential to earn a certain percentage amount of your base salary based on organizational performance. (For AIP eligible positions)
