Summer Camp Nurse New

Located in West Michigan, Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp is a non-profit summer school of the arts, providing two-week sessions for students in grades 5-12. Our Health Lodge serves a camp community of approximately 1,500 campers, staff, and faculty at any given time.

Our camp nurses work with the Director of Health Services, camp medical providers, and Health Lodge Directors to provide a variety of health care services including basic first aid, medication management, evaluation and referrals for off-camp medical care. Nurses hold office hours daily and remain on-call for emergencies. Two- and four-week commuter and residential positions available. Minimum certification: Valid registered nurse license and current BLS certification (or equivalent).

Sessions run from late June through late August. A stipend of $1,500 per session is provided, along with housing, meals, and an $800 camp scholarship for an immediate family member (grades 5 – 12).

Blue Lake also offers 2 other programs that run prior to the start of our regular summer sessions. Suzuki Family Camp and our International Exchange Program Intensive Week, salary is pro-rated for coverage during these programs.
