We are so excited about our upcoming Ohio Association of School Nurses Conference February 20th-22nd, 2015, at the Marriott NW in Dublin, Ohio. We are doing a safari theme -- "Adventures in School Nursing: The Ultimate Expedition into the Mind, Body and Spirit—An Evidence-based Journey".
Two outstanding keynotes will be presenting; Dr. Martha Dewey Bergren. DNS RN NCSN FNASN FASHA, the Director of Advanced Community Health at the University of Illinois-Chicago, whose experience and ties to school health run deep and wide, will fuel our spirits as she shares the latest evidence on school nurse image and putting our best foot forward. Dr. Elizabeth Zmuda D.O., a pediatric emergency medicine doctor recognized for her expertise in nutrition, physical activity and its impact on brain development and cognitive function will kick off Friday.
