2015 American Public Health Association conference is in Chicago Oct 31 - November 4th.

Please consider joining APHA through the School Health Section.

APHA is an important venue for school nurses to be at the table!!

APHA's friend-raising campaign is going on now through Oct 5, 2015. We invite colleagues to join our SHES section.

The SHES section is devoted to issues related to student health. The SHES section includes professionals who work to enhance school health promotion, health care and services and health literacy through coordinated school health programs; as well as researchers and practitioners who address a broad range of school health issues, such as obesity prevention, reduction of youth risk-taking behavior, delivery of asthma care, HIV/STD/pregnancy prevention, environmental protection and policy development. Together we advocate for every student to be healthy and in school. Think of your colleagues who are involved in this work who are not yet APHA-SHES members and invite them to join. There is strength in numbers; and growth in networking.
